Countdown to 2013 Art Gallery & Museum reopening

Building for a new future continues on the exciting redevelopment of the Art Gallery & Museum, expected to be re-opening early 2013. This expansive rebuilding work is the result of a successful bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund.

In the meantime catch us 'off the wall, on the move' as we delivering an off-site programme in the Cheltenham area. Working with various partners and artists, there is a lively programme providing something for everybody throughout the year.

Major milestone imminent

One of the first major milestones will soon be reached in the construction of the new Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum, the ground and foundation works are set to be completed shortly. Work will then commence on building the main concrete frame.

Collections

We regret we are unable to provide an enquiry service at the present time. Also, since the collections are now going into storage in preparation for our redevelopment project, no new photography of collections will be available for the time being.

Job Opportunities

We regret that we do not have any vacancies at present.

Voluntary work

Although we normally provide opportunities for voluntary work, we are unable to offer this service at the present time, since staff are heavily involved in preparation work for our redevelopment project, Building for a New Future.

Work Experience

Each year we are pleased to welcome students for work experience placements. However, we are unable to offer such placements whilst we are closed for our major redevelopment project.
