Each day you can leave or share your memories of previous jubilees or you might remember the 1953 Coronation – we’d love to hear from you - if you do have memories we can add to our archives at the Art Gallery & Museum please visit us on Thursday or Friday.
Younger visitors can make parachutes, dress-dolls, have a go at bagatelle or hoola hoop, try on fashions from the era or create a pair of cool sun glasses.
Sophia Wilson, Exhibitions & Education Manager says we are really pleased to be holding one of our off the wall, on the move events at the Beechwood and are grateful to them for offering us the space. There will also be dance and music so should help to create quite an enjoyable atmosphere.
For further details about the event or to arrange a photo please contact Sophia Wilson, Exhibitions & Education Manager (tel 01242 775711) or Anna Stanway, Information & Marketing Officer (tel 01242 775707)
