An Open Window: Selected Works from the Swindon Collection

13 December 2014 – 8 March 2015, Friends’ Gallery, The Wilson

‘An Open Window’ brings together four portraits from Swindon Museum and Art Gallery’s collection to our Friends Gallery. The display provides a glimpse into Swindon’s wonderful 20th century collection and forms part of the Frameworks partnership project, ‘Modern Art in Britain’. The partnership includes Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath, the Holburne Museum in Bath and Swindon Museum and Art Gallery, as well as The Wilson. For this project, each venue is taking a different look at the theme and hosting a display celebrating modern British art.
