The de Ferrieres Gallery

The de Ferrieres gallery, named after the original benefactor of the art gallery and museum, is our community gallery, available for hire to display art works from those working in the local area.

Located on the first floor, this contemporary and versatile space is a fantastic opportunity to display your own work in the context of a vibrant art gallery and museum.

The Gloucestershire Landscape

3rd March – 15th April 2018

This exhibition of paintings by local artist Rupert Aker celebrates the landscape of Gloucestershire. From the Cotswolds, to the Severn vale and Forest of Dean, the diversity of the county's landscape provides the inspiration for Rupert's expressive oil paintings with palette knife. The paintings are accompanied by the words Gloucestershire's great poets who were also inspired by the same views. This exhibition is accompanied by a free Q+A, painting demonstration and poetry reading on the 29th March, book your tickets here:
