Study Collections

Limitations of space and the fragile nature of some of the Museum's objects mean that not everything is on show. The items that are kept in store may be seen by appointment. These include paintings, decorative art, local and social history, archaeology, natural history and ethnography. There are archives relating to the Arts and Crafts Movement, Gustav Holst, and local history.
