Object talk: Roman Gods in Gloucestershire

Come and join our collections team for a series of in-depth evening talks about iconic objects in the museum.  Assistant curator Benedict Sayers will be talking about the collection of Roman votive sculptures found at Wycomb, Gloucestershire, in particular the Genii Cucullati, the hooded spirits. The talk will also explore other spirits and gods worshipped in Roman Gloucestershire.

Talks start at 6pm and will be with the objects in the galleries. Each talk lasts about half an hour and then there will be a chance to ask questions.
