Object talk: The Dowdeswell Pike

Come and join our collections team for a series of in-depth evening talks about iconic objects in the museum. Curator Ann-Rachael Harwood will be talking about the pike, discovered on 11 May 1896 floating on the surface of Dowdeswell Reservoir. You will also have the opportunity to see additional items from the collections, including photographs of the reservoir.

Talks start at 6pm and will be with the objects in the galleries. Each talk lasts about half an hour, and then there will be a chance to ask questions.
