Object Talk: Winchcombe Hoard
At The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum
Due to the temporary closure of The Wilson this event is currently not running but check back for further information as the situation progresses
Come and join our collections team for a series of in-depth lunchtime talks about iconic objects in the museum. Assistant curator Benedict Sayers will be talking about buried treasure: the Winchcombe hoard of 251 silver coins dating to the 16th and 17th centuries which were discovered just over 20 years ago.
Talks start at 1pm and will be with the objects in the galleries. Each talk lasts about half an hour, and then there will be a chance to ask questions.
