Remastered by the British Film Institute The Great White Silence was filmed by Herbert Ponting – Official photographer on the British Antarctic Expedition led by Captain Robert F. Scott in 1910. This documentary takes you back to the height of British 20th century Antarctic exploration which Cheltenham’s very own Edward Adrian Wilson was a part of.
